The plan promised wider roads, pedestrian-friendly footpaths and an improved drainage system. However, less than three years after construction, several stretches are reportedly riddled with potholes, while footpaths have been encroached upon. Poor drain cleaning has also contributed to rainwater damage to the roads. Questions are now being raised over the project’s maintenance and whether residents are receiving the promised benefits.
