All About the Midterms with Yanan Rahim

It’s Mamdani’s world, and we’re just living in it! In this special episode, Liz and Jeremy enjoy a freewheeling, unscripted conversation with Yanah Rahim, a Filipino immigrant and Princeton-trained theologian who, like your hosts, happens to have a political crush on the Mayor from the Big Apple. We talk through the data about Protestant voters and ask, why did some break from Trump? And why are white evangelicals still the most stalwart supporters of the White House? Plus, we dream together of what a more progressive (and more accountable) government could look like. Articles we discussed: James Talarico’s victory speech https://religionnews.com/2026/11/04/o...
