8 m/s Double-Deck Otis Lifts - Horizon 22 Observatory In London England

These are the lifts in Horizon 22 observation deck which is located in 22 Bishopsgate. There was no chance filming the main office lifts which is all thanks to the turnstiles These are some really nice double-deck Otis lifts (even though it is quite difficult to find out if they are double-deck or not). As these are double-deck lifts, I was in the lower car which serves between 1 and 58M. When the restaurant opened in February 2025, the upper car serves between 1M and 60. These lifts goes at an extremely fast speed of 8 m/s which is one of the fastest lifts in the UK. These lifts has generic indicators on the outside and custom voice announcements in the lifts which I’ve never heard before but to be honest, almost every high security office building all have different custom floor announcements. These lifts are controlled by staff as this is an observation deck for tourists.
