2026 Narrowboat Sessions. Sensible Folk, 'Dark Cloud'.

Whenever we see Susy Wall or Matt Sayers we know that we're going to be in for a good session. But to get the pair of them together for a session was just incredible, normally they play in a recently formed trio Called Sensible Folk but sadly the third member, Robin Tudor, couldn't make it this year so hopefully we'll have the full ensemble next year. Their first sublime piece for us from this session was Matt's wonderful song, 'Dark Cloud'. Matt based it on a TV character and the tension that came from his impending death. He's hoping to include this dark and pensive tune on his next album.
