What should a Christian do when life becomes painful, exhausting, and spiritually heavy? James 5 gives a clear answer: if anyone is suffering, let him pray. If anyone is cheerful, let him sing praise. If anyone is weary, let him call for the elders of the church. If sin is involved, let there be confession and prayer. And when a righteous person prays with faith, that prayer has great power as it is working.
