Triumph Sprint RS 2002 where she started to now

Welcome to the first video on LJ our motorbike. So after Maj the camper had to go I have decided to record some of the work we do on our smaller projects as many of times when I need to do something I watch a video first so this might be helpful to others. I do make mistakes and break things but I always give it ago and learn as I go along. The Triumph Sprint RS 955i I bought in August 2023 and was in boxes. We did a quick look and didn't notice it was half a bike!! No tank, and many other parts missing. Using a very good website I was able to look through the exploded pictures of all the parts and work out what was missing then find as cheap as possible. From this the bike was built up and started in January 2024 before going for its mot in the February which it passed straight away. Most bolts have been replaced and most metal parts were powder coated black. Then we used her for a bit and when summer came fixed and painted the plastics (not an easy paint to use) and even made my own RS stickers. We now get to this year and she has just passed her mot again so have fitted panniers that should've fitted easily but had to alter a few parts. I will try and record the other jobs I do from now on and on CJ the Boxster too which does have a long list of jobs. I have added all the pictures I took during the process for anyone interested at the end. Let me know what you think but we love how she looks and once the panniers are painted and the flat bars are on she will be pretty much finished.
