VIRGIN STEELE: THIS VIDEO CLIP IS A PREVIEW–ANNOUNCEMENT for the Forthcoming Video Celebrations shortly arriving from the LIFE AMONG THE RUINS & THE MARRIAGE OF HEAVEN & HELL PARTS 1 & 2 Albums… This Preview clip is essentially a short “overview”, showing a little bit of what we will be issuing in our various forthcoming videos over the next several weeks…The very first video release will be a kind of "movie", we call it: TALE OF THE SNAKESKIN VOODOO MAN "REVISITED". This is an hour long Work/"Movie" that has been greatly expanded from the 25 minute version we originally released when the LIFE AMONG THE RUINS album first appeared. The early videos that we presented in the original release have been revamped, and we have now added several new full length clips from the “RUINS” album. These videos feature mostly vintage, archival footage from that era, and occasionally more recent & present day footage, depending on the song. The REVISITED “MOVIE” features as stated before the full video clips for the songs: SNAKESKIN VOODOO MAN LOVE IS PAIN CAGE OF ANGELS/NEVER BELIEVED IN GOOD-BYE INVITATION/I DRESS IN BLACK (Woman With No Shadow) Plus these newer video clips for the songs: SEX RELIGION MACHINE HAUNTING THE LAST HOURS JET BLACK and CROWN OF THORNS. In addition there are various Vignettes (including some TV shows we were on, and studio footage). These vignettes bind all the various clips together and round out the “Movie”. Everything was made with an eye and ear to representing the mood of this particular Era. In addition to the “REVISITED “MOVIE”, again from the “RUINS” album we have (again using vintage, archival footage from that Era) created separate video clips for the following tracks: PURPLE RAIN (Live Acoustic Version) WILDFIRE WOMAN (Live Acoustic Version) EYES WITHOUT A FACE (Live Acoustic Version) And we also did two more clips...From the BONUS SECOND DISC that the “RUINS” CD contains, we have made video clips for the songs: WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS & MY MOURNING CLOTHES…since those songs are more recent, they feature present day footage… To represent THE MARRIAGE OF HEAVEN & HELL PART 1 AND PART 2 albums we will be issuing video clips for the songs: HOUSE OF DUST and CROWN OF GLORY (Unscarred) For these clips we used both vintage live performance footage from the “MARRIAGE” Era as well as more recent footage as needed.
