Hanoi: Beautiful Chaos

Two days. Two very different sides of Vietnam. 🇻🇳 The Pho of Us adventure begins in the beautiful chaos of Hanoi, exploring some of the city’s most iconic sights including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and the bustling streets of the Old Quarter. There’s a rickshaw ride through traffic that seems to operate on its own set of rules, a visit to the famous Water Puppet Theatre, the madness of Hanoi’s night markets and, of course, a night on Train Street — where having a coffee beside a railway line suddenly seems perfectly normal. Then The Pho of Us leave the noise of Hanoi behind and head south to Ninh Binh. We explore the incredible Bai Dinh Pagoda, step back in time at the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, jump on bikes and ride through the spectacular limestone landscape around Trang An, before finishing with a peaceful boat journey through its rivers and towering karst mountains. From horns, crowds and neon lights to temples, rice fields and quiet waterways, these two days gave us a little bit of everything. And that’s exactly why we travel.
