Vegas (Original) — Live at Cooper’s | Lucy Dawn

Another piece of our afternoon making music at Cooper’s in Midtown Memphis — and another chance to hear one of my songs take on a different life once other musicians stepped into it. There’s something I’m becoming increasingly fond of about playing my originals this way. I bring the song, everyone brings a little piece of themselves, and we find out together what it wants to sound like that day. For this one: Lucy Dawn — vocals & guitar Alejandro — bass Leroy Clay — drums Wes Mann — flute, harmonica & assorted musical magic Like the “Do No Harm” video from this set, the camera didn’t quite catch the entire song — but what it did catch was far too good to leave sitting on the phone. Sometimes a little piece of the moment is enough. 💜 Thank you to Cooper’s for welcoming us into such a wonderfully creative little corner of Midtown, and to Alejandro, Leroy and Wes for surrounding my songs with sounds I could never make alone. This was a good day for music. “Vegas” Written & performed by Lucy Dawn Live at Cooper’s — Memphis, TN September 27, 2026 Stay for the song. — Lucy Dawn #LucyDawn #Vegas #OriginalMusic #LiveMusic #MemphisMusic #SingerSongwriter #LiveAndOnStage
