Led by Detective Deborah Gilmour, the homicide team carried out an exhaustive investigation. Detective Sergeant Steve Harper authored dozens of judicial authorizations and analyzed hundreds of thousands of phone records. Detective Sergeant Gregg Bailey applied his expertise as a polygraph operator and interviewer to question key suspects. Their relentless efforts led to two first-degree murder convictions and one manslaughter conviction. One suspect passed away while in custody awaiting trial.
