Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Palm Canyon & The Slot trails. California's largest State Park!

Michael & Sylvia just retired at the end of December 2025. Sylvia's last day was December 24th. We headed out just two days later on December 26th for and epic 8,000 mile RV road trip, crossing 14 states. Visiting 16 National Parks, 12 State parks, several major cities like, Biloxi, New Orleans, Houston, Tucson, Phoenix, San Diego, LA, Las Vegas and many more with adventure all along the way! Traveling in a Monaco Windsor 40' diesel pusher towing a Jeep Wrangler YJ. Traveling with our two senior beagles, William 16.5 years, and Margaret Thatcher 13. We love to hike, bike, kayak, scuba dive and explore the US and all creation! On today's episode, we leave the Pacific coast of California, just outside San Diego, where we were staying at the Sweetwater Summit Regional Park in Bonita, CA. Today we are headed about 87 miles northwest to the Borrego Springs, CA to an oasis in the desert. We are staying at and exploring Anza-Borrego Desert State Park,. While are fortunate as the desert flowers are in full bloom. We hike the Palm Canyon and the Slot trails. Thanks so much for watching!!!
