I travelled alone. Just me, my camper van, and thousands of kilometres from Spain to North Cape, crossing all of Europe and now, in this Part 2 Norway video I start the journey back from North Cape alone again.
This is what solo van life in Norway really looks like. The freedom, the silence, the rain, the expensive food, and the moments where you look around and think: I wish someone was here to see this with me that’s why this video goes to.
IN THIS EPISODE
I leave North Cape and stop in Alta. I go to the supermarket for food and I feel the real price of travelling alone in Norway. Everything is expensive, and when you are alone, there is no one to split the costs with.
Then I arrive in Lofoten. Even with bad weather, even alone, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
I fly my drone over Henningsvær and its famous football stadium, probably the most beautiful stadium in the world. From above, with the sea and mountains around it, I just stood there alone, watching it, and I could not believe it was real.
I visit Å, the village with the shortest name in the world, the old fishing village at the end of Lofoten.
I go back 1000 years at the Lofoten Viking Museum.
I climb a mountain alone in Lofoten. Just me, the wind, and one of the best views of my whole life.
Then I take the ferry alone to Bodø and visit the Norwegian Aviation Museum, with fighter jets, helicopters and Cold War history.
And I finish this episode in Oslo. The journey continues, but this time I am going even further.
If you have ever dreamed of travelling alone, this video is for you. You do not need anyone to start. You just need to go.
Would you travel alone to Norway? Tell me in the comments.
