Regulatory Approaches to CO₂ Transport and Storage Infrastructure in Europe

In this webinar, we explore how CO₂ transport and storage infrastructure is being regulated across Europe, focusing on its importance for scaling carbon capture and storage (CCS) and enabling industrial decarbonisation. We will address the growing need for coordinated infrastructure and discuss the financial and policy drivers shaping investment decisions. About COREu COREu is one of the largest research and innovation project in the field of carbon capture and storage (CCS) funded by a European programme. Its goal is to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future, targeting a reduction of 6.8 Mt/year of CO2 by 2035 and 36 Mt/year by 2050. This will be achieved by demonstrating key technologies across the entire CCS value chain in Europe. The project aims to develop new demonstration projects that connect CO2 sources with potential storage sites.
