With me finally moved to the East Bay, I will be taking ACT much more frequently, and now I can also fan many different things that departs from the East Bay, like this second to last 800 trips to San Francisco. The 800 to SF has a slightly different routing than from SF, instead of serving West Oakland BART, it directly utilizes 14th St and onto the I-980 freeway, connecting to I-580 and Bay Bridge. However, on this day I recorded this (May 21, 2026), there was a very heavy traffic delay, due to a motorcycle crash just right after the Toll Plaza before the bridge. This caused all transbay buses to be at least 30 minutes late, and traffic clears right after the scene, even regularly jammed US-101 was clear.
