Natosapi Community College 55th Anniversary - Ik takis to wap sop, Is kohtsik, ni tih koyop

Natosapi – Old Sun Community College: 55th Anniversary Film "Ik takis to wap sop, Is kohtsik, ni tih koyop" — "We are stronger because of the experiences from the past." To mark 55 years since Siksika Nation took over administration of Natosapi – Old Sun Community College, this film brings together the voices of Elders, leadership, staff, and students to tell the story of a building that once operated as a residential school and has now served as a place of learning, culture, and healing for longer than it ever operated as one. Through interviews and reflections from those who helped build the college and those who carry it forward today, this is a story about resilience, Siksika knowledge, and a community continuing to grow stronger from everything that came before it. Produced in celebration of Natosapi Community College's 55th Anniversary and the 35th Anniversary of the Post-Secondary Student Support Program. Directed, filmed, and edited by David Copithorne. Executive Producers: Maria Big Snake & Debbie Smith
