This episode picks up right after our first Badwater event, and I'm racing to build floodgates before the next wave hits. Early on I find a Number Cruncher that produces Science without a single beaver working it, which feels like cheating in the best way. Then the drought lands: seven days without power, farmers can't keep the colony fed even with full fields, and I add farmhouses I didn't want to add just to stop the starving. Along the way I realize two of my Iron Teeth beavers are contaminated from the last Badwater event, and I don't have a bath or a Decontamination Pod ready for them. That sends me hunting through the tech tree for Extract 🧪, the one ingredient the cure needs, and for a long stretch I genuinely don't know where to find it. When I finally unlock the Centrifuge, I discover it only runs on Badwater itself, the exact poison that's making my beavers sick in the first place.
