Conrail Shared Assets Operations - North Jersey Sampler

The northern part of New Jersey is a hot spot when it comes to railroads, NS, CSX as well as CSAO (Conrail Shared Assets) have quite the stronghold in this part of the state with comes to ports, intermodal facilities as well as refineries and trash dumps. This video shows a little bit of everything, from main line freight on the Lehigh Line, to Ethanol trains, local freights and even intermodals on the Garden State Secondary, formerly the known as the Chemical Coast, named for all of the chemical refineries located along the line.
