Remington Model 14

Next up we bring you the Remington Model 14, a John Pedersen designed pump action .35 caliber rifle produced by Remington from 1912 to 1950. This example was made in 1932. Sales of Remingtons (John Brownings) Model 8 during this period were not that great due to cost of manufacture limiting number produced and also lack of consumer interest in the "new fangled" autoloading rifle..........seems most folk preferred to load the chamber themselves probably just from having to do it that way since forever! For this reason the Model 14 soared in popularity. This rifle also competed directly with the big monster seller of the time, the John Browning designed Winchester model 94 and has some interesting features, check it out! Thanks for tuning in!
