They Turned LOTR's Most Terrifying Spider Into a HOT WOMAN?!

🕷️ They turned one of the most terrifying creatures in Lord of the Rings into a sexy goth woman… WHY?! In Tolkien's Middle-earth, Shelob is an ancient, monstrous spider descended from the darkness of Ungoliant. But in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, she gets a rather unexpected makeover. So why did the developers decide to make Shelob HOT?! In this Halloween special, we're exploring Shelob's terrifying origins, her connection to Ungoliant, her controversial portrayal in Shadow of War, and what it all says about the way fantasy depicts powerful, monstrous women. We'll also be making a little comparison with Lolth, the infamous Spider Queen of Dungeons & Dragons. Because apparently, fantasy has a thing for terrifying spider ladies. And honestly? We have questions! Did you prefer Tolkien's original monstrous Shelob, or did you actually like her human form in Shadow of War? And more importantly… was making Shelob hot really necessary? 😂 Happy Halloween, my lovelies! 🎃🖤 #LordOfTheRings #Shelob #ShadowOfWar #MiddleEarth #Tolkien #FantasyLore #SapphoTheWitch Follow me: 🎥 YouTube: @WitchSappho 📚 Wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/user/WitchSappho 🔗 Linktree: https://linktr.ee/witchsappho ──────────────────── Copyright Disclaimer This video is a transformative work created for the purposes of commentary, criticism, review, and education.
