Wow! What an Amazing Bakery in Chicago Chinatown

On this episode, I'm visiting Chiu Quon, the premiere bakery in Chicago's Chinatown. A local institution that opened in 1986, it specializes in Hong Kong/Cantonese/Toisanese style baked goods and pastries. Their most renowned item is the baked roast pork bun (cha siu bao), something no one visiting there, especially for the first time, can miss out on. I get those to try, of course, and a representative survey of their other, most popular items. In the end, I am legitimately wowed by the quality and execution. I leave having learned why Chiu Quon is a special place.
