This particular artifact was labelled Live at the Khyber 03/21/2002 but sounds like it was from up stairs at And Cafe after hours for the first 46 minutes and 50 seconds. Then on the B side it switches to the last 24 minutes of the Khyber performance, as far as I can tell. It's a bit of audio detective work involved in confirming the time, place and performers involved in these old sessions. Listening for clues along the way. Wasn't very diligent in documenting the details of these sonic adventures. At around 18 minutes in it sounds like Lukas arrives having navigated the intermission audience gathering outside of an ABBA tribute band called "Bjorn Again". Brief talk of setting up in the round reminded me of a night at And Cafe where we did just that. Setting up in a circular configuration. Not sure if Lukas was on the upright or electric bass. Lofi wildness. First 3 minutes is ambient SH-101 with treated bass guitar. Drums join in around the 5 minute mark. Saxophone joins the groove around 16 minutes into the session. Lukas and Tim join the fray at around the 19 minute mark.
