Tul il-kosta Maltija Programme 13 - St. Julian's to Valletta

This is the last programme in this series. The walk leaves St. Julian's towards Valletta where we had started this adventure in programme 1. The walk is mainly along the urban stretch on the eastern side of the island. The localities have changed during the last 60 years becoming localities with a high population density as well as continuous construction activity. The highlights of this walk are the rock cut pools at Fond Ghadir, Il-Fortizza, the caves below Ghar id-Dud, Fort Tigne, Manoel Island and Fort Manoel, The Msida Historic Bastion Garden and the Floriana and Valletta fortifications.
