$50 Walmart Survival Challenge (No Camping Gear!)

We challenged ourselves to survive a night in the northern Ontario backcountry using only $50 worth of Walmart items. No tents, no fancy gear — just everyday items repurposed for shelter, fire, food, and survival. We set up camp near a scenic little waterfall, right as the seasons change from summer to fall. Using nothing but creativity and determination, we built our shelter, lit a fire, and cooked a meal with the bare minimum. This wasn’t about comfort, it was about testing skills, pushing limits, and proving that you don’t need expensive gear to survive in the wild.
