While LEC has designed salvage craft in the past, previous models were built primarily for solo operators. The SV-71 Astro Forge marks a shift toward heavy-duty fleet operations—a versatile, medium-class vessel capable of supporting a crew of four to eight. The Astro Forge features a subtle asymmetrical hull built around a central fuselage flanked by twin nacelles. The primary cockpit is offset along the starboard nacelle, while the port nacelle houses redundant shield generators and a backup reactor core. Within the central fuselage, the crew has access to spacious living quarters, administrative facilities, a medical bay, and a main cargo bay integrated with an onboard refinery. At the bow, a heavy-shielded bay door allows for the seamless stowing of salvaged wreckage alongside the ship’s primary Type-44 Photon Cannons and newly integrated tractor beam array.
