Why the Rebels NEVER Allowed Separatists to Join

The Rebel Alliance called itself the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and that name quietly decided who was allowed to join it. Former Separatists fought under Rebel colors for twenty years, but the Confederacy itself never got through the door, and one Separatist general had to give up something far more valuable than his soldiers to walk in.
