Add CarPlay and Android Auto to your Subaru Forester, Outback, or Legacy WITHOUT a new Head Unit

In this video, I install a CarPlay and Android Upgrade Kit on my 2018 Subaru Forester XT (SJ) from Hamilton Motor Company. This kit keeps the stock head unit, and you can even toggle back and forth between the OEM head unit's operating system and the CarPlay interface. After resolving a few issues (mentioned in the video), it's working great for me. As of this posting, Hamilton has kits for the 2016-2018 Forester, 2015-2018 Outback, and 2015-2017 Legacy.
