June Millington ~ "Tomorrow"

When WB sent us all the takes of our Fanny recordings in 2003, I didn't recognize "Tomorrow" at all ~ I called Alice, then I called Jean. "Who is that?" I said? "It sounds familiar, but I just can't place it." Alice called back and said, "June, I think that's you!" And then I heard it: the funk plucking on the choruses.That had to be me. And after that, the memories came back pretty easily ... the sentiments behind the verses, the lines "Help me help you help me make it better," and "Mountain peaks, circus freaks and dancers" - we were all in the song, these were hippie times and you never knew what or who you would run into in the canyons of LA! Actually, fun times. So, please enjoy. This is the song I wrote when I ran away to join the circus. But we happened to record it at just about the best studio in the wold, Apple in London with Geoff Emerick, the Beatles engineer. How lucky were we? And even though I forgot about this for just over 40 years, it was well worth it for the song to come back so strongly and make such a big impression.. I love it so.
