I Beat Pokemon FireRed In The Fewest Possible Steps

In this challenge, I will be playing through Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen while attempting to beat the game in the fewest number of possible steps. Theoretically, there is a lowest number of steps that the game can be beaten in - and today, I'll be trying to find that number using every trick to save steps that the game gives me.
