Olivier Latry Improvisation at National Shrine Pipe Organ (1)

The current co-titular of Notre Dame ventures across the Atlantic once more, showing us the magical music that he creates from his fertile imagination: this time music based on one of the 4 Marian hymns. There was much more music: I've had to split it into 2 portions to satisfy YouTube's requirements. Part 2 will be uploaded as soon as I can find time to edit it. M. Latry kicked off a summer of mostly-French music performed on the IV/157/172 Moller in the Basilica's Upper Church, in tribute to the 25th anniversary of the death of M. Latry's predecessor in the Notre Dame tribune, Pierre Cochereau. And, again, I apologize for the occasional thumps & bumps; my neighbors that evening just couldn't sit still ;-)
