Eco-Home

The Eco-Home is divided into two main zones: The Garden System and The House System – all managed via an integrated embedded system using ATmega32, with clear layering through MCAL and HAL drivers. 1. Garden System:🌱 Secure Entry using Keypad & LCD: Owner enters username and password 3 failed attempts → activates buzzer alarm Guest button sends request to homeowner for approval Sensor Monitoring and Control: Soil Moisture Sensor → automatic irrigation when needed LDR (Light Sensor) → turns garden lights on at night MQ2 → detects smoke and gas leakage LM35 → monitors ambient temperature 2. House System:🏠 LM35 (Temperature Sensor) with 3 defined ranges: Below 25°C → normal mode, cooling fans for airflow 25°C–50°C → cooling system activated Above 50°C → triggers fire emergency system MQ5 (Gas + Air Quality Sensor): Slight air quality drop → activates ventilation High gas/smoke levels → activates gas emergency system LDR for automated external lighting Emergency Systems: Cooling/Ventilation System: Dual fan setup (inlet and exhaust) Gas Emergency System: Air purification via ventilation Cuts internal power & activates emergency power line Automatically closes the gas valve Triggers buzzer alarm Fire Emergency System: Includes all gas system actions Adds water or CO₂ fire extinguishing system Important Note: Once an emergency system is triggered, the home does not return to normal operation until a full system restart is performed – ensuring safety and manual acknowledgment. Remote Control Interface: Full control over all home systems (lights, doors, ventilation, etc.) via: Bluetooth – Terminal Interface – Wi-Fi (future extension) Tech Stack: MCAL: DIO – USART – TIMER – EEPROM – ADC – INTERRUPT HAL: SERVO MOTOR – DC MOTORS – LEDS – CLCD – BUZZER – LM35 – MQ2 – MQ5 – LDR – DHT11 – Buttons Massive thanks to everyone who supported and worked on this project.
