Kids Read Aloud Story 📖 | Milly & Diggs' Farmyard Friends | Ages 3–5

Enjoy this Read Aloud version of Farmyard Friends — Story One from Milly & Diggs’ Farmyard Yarns, a gentle farmyard story for children aged 3–5 about friendship, belonging and discovering that everyone still has something special to give. Beside an old dusty barn on a quiet Australian farm live Milly, a proud red tractor, and Diggs, his cheerful yellow digger friend. After many years of carrying hay, digging holes, planting trees and helping around the farm, their busiest working days are now behind them. Sometimes Milly wonders whether an old tractor and an old digger can still be useful. But when a little blue wren arrives looking for somewhere to rest and three playful rabbits turn their quiet corner of the farm into the perfect place for a game of hide-and-seek, Milly and Diggs begin to see things a little differently. Farmyard Friends is a warm story about lifelong friendship, kindness and finding purpose in the simple things we can offer others. It gently reminds children that helping does not always have to mean doing something big — sometimes being welcoming, sharing a little joy or simply being there for a friend can mean just as much. With calm narration and gentle storytelling, this Read Aloud version encourages children to relax and listen while enjoying the rhythm, expression and language of the story without needing to read independently. ✨ Perfect for: 🌙 Bedtime, quiet time and cosy listening 💛 Gentle conversations about friendship, kindness and feeling useful 🚜 Children who love tractors, diggers and farmyard adventures 🐦 Young animal and nature lovers 🎧 Developing listening comprehension and language skills 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Shared family listening and story time 🌿 Encouraging empathy, belonging and appreciation for others 📖 Enjoy more Read Aloud stories from Story Time With Ninny:    • 📖Read Aloud Stories   🎨 Free Colouring Sheets & Activities Continue the adventure with free printable colouring pages and activities: 👉https://www.storytimewithninny.com.au... 🌟 Welcome to Story Time With Ninny 🌟 A collection of stories, poems, Read Aloud, Read Along, family adventures and imaginative tales for children, families, grandparents, carers and educators.
