This tutorial video presents the fitting of dielectric modulus data as a function of frequency using Havriliak-Negami Function. This method allows to calculate the conductivity relaxation time and shape parameters. The above fitting results can be used to understand relaxation function, represented by the Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts (KWW) function, and to calculate the interaction and correlation parameter of the sample i.e., βKWW. The details of the equation can be found below. This method is very helpful for study ion transport and relaxation in materials.
