Why the Machine Had to Die - The Enchanted Wood is growing.

For a long time, an AI voice opened every story on The Enchanted Wood. Before that I had that voice throughout. It was convenient. It was safe. But along the way, I realized that it wasn't right. If you have watched my video on Birch tree would would understand this... How could I invite you into the woods, talk about forgotten folklore, old traditions and our connection with the natural world... while hiding behind a machine? So I stopped. In this video, I'm explaining why The Enchanted Wood changed, and where we're going from here. No more AI voices. No more five-minute slideshows That i used to do. Instead, we're going back into the woods. Back to the old trees, the folklore, the creatures, the crafts and the traditions that have been passed down through generations. I'll be revisiting some of the trees we've already explored... Oak, Yew, Rowan, Hawthorn and others, but this time giving them the depth and time they deserve. All without the "story teller" voice at the start. We'll explore woodland animals, traditional woodcarving, folk practices, old beliefs and the ways people once lived alongside the natural world. This isn't about chasing trends or simply making content. The Enchanted Wood is a place. A place to slow down, remember, and perhaps see the familiar world a little differently. And to everyone who has subscribed, commented, or simply sat by the candle with me recently... Thank you for walking this path with me. The old ways aren't gone.
