Bleach Created a Villain It Couldn’t Kill

Yhwach became so broken in Bleach TYBW that defeating him wasn’t even the problem anymore — the problem was making the loss stick. In this video, we’re going through exactly how Yhwach went from outplaying Yamamoto to becoming one of the most ridiculous final villains in anime. Ichibe stripped away his name and reduced him to Black Ant. Ichigo unlocked new levels of power. Orihime put everything on the line. Aizen used Kyoka Suigetsu against The Almighty. And by the final battle, it took Ichigo, Uryu, Aizen, the Soul Reapers, Quincies, Arrancars, and multiple worlds fighting back just to create one chance to finally put Yhwach down. We cover Yhwach vs Yamamoto, Ichibe vs Yhwach, the Soul King, Ichigo vs Yhwach, Blood Chains Ichigo, True Bankai Ichigo, Aizen vs Yhwach, Still Silver, and the final Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War battle. The question isn’t whether Yhwach was powerful. The question is: did Bleach make this man TOO broken? Let me know where Yhwach ranks among Bleach villains — and if you think anybody could have realistically beaten him without The Almighty being shut down.
