Fraternizing with a Brother

The plaintiff says he manages a fraternity house, and he’s a member too. He claims the frat abruptly moved out and left $30,000 in damages, so he’s suing the defendant for his portion of what’s owed in rent and damages. The defendant says the frat was kicked off campus and he paid all the rent except the last two months, and the security deposit should have covered it. He insists he doesn’t owe anything else.
