After driving hundreds of kilometres in Part 1, we finally reach Naneghat — one of the most beautiful places on our Maharashtra road trip. And this is where the trip starts feeling like a real adventure. Our plan was simple: find a place to camp, cook our own food, and spend the night surrounded by the Sahyadri mountains. ⛺ But Naneghat had much more waiting for us. We explore the ancient Naneghat, a historic trade route dating back around 2,000 years, see the old rock-cut caves and inscriptions, and walk through the misty mountains. Then comes the highlight — the Reverse Waterfall! 🌧️💨 With strong winds pushing the falling water back upwards, rain, mist and dramatic cliffs all around us, it was one of those places that looks almost unreal. And after exploring, it was time for the best part of camping… Cooking our own dinner! 🍳🔥 No hotel. No room service. Just our cars, camping gear, food, friends and the mountains.
