Lanka Ella - This is a very beautiful but lesser known waterfall hidden in the jungle. It is located about 1 km away from the popular Bambarakanda waterfall. the height of the waterfall is about 30m.
Bambarakanada Ella - Bambarakanda Falls is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. With a height of 263 m, it ranks as the 461st highest waterfall in the world. Situated in Kalupahana in the Badulla District, this waterfall is 5 km away from the A4 Highway. The waterfall was formed by Kuda Oya, which is a tributary of the Walawe River.
Samanalawewa - Commissioned in 1992, the Samanalawewa Project (Samanala Reservoir Project) is the third-largest hydroelectric scheme in the country, producing 405 GWh of energy annually. It was built with financial support from Japan and the United Kingdom.
Pahanthudawa - The waterfall is named as “pahanthudawa” as it forms at the base, a pool in the shape of the wick of the lamp. It is located from about 1.5km off the small town Belihuloya, the breathtaking waterfall has always been a serene sight for everyone who enjoys the comfort of bluish waters.
Waulpane Cave - Waulpane Cave or Wavula Pane Cave is a cave located in Bulutota Rakwana range, northwest of Embilipitiya one of the archeological site located in Sri Lanka. The cave is located in the Ratnapura District, in the Kolonne Korale, about 278 metres above sea level. The meaning of Wavul Pane is Cave of Bats.
Chandrika Lake - Chandrika Lake is a stunning lake located in Embilipitiya in the Ratnapura district. This lake is a famous attraction amongst the local Travellers. Travellers and Villagers gather here to bathe and have a good time with family and friends. The lake reveals a pretty blue shade from its water.
