Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed missile and drone attacks targeting “sensitive” sites in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, amid a fresh escalation in the region. Saudi Arabia’s military coalition said a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh was successfully intercepted. Flames and a large plume of black smoke were also reported near King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital.
