“No Hand Above Mine” is a five-song dark fantasy story with commanding female vocals, following a powerful sorceress after she claims the Crown hidden beneath a ruined academy. The academy’s remaining wards try to seal her inside, but its white-stone halls break around her command. Beyond the gates, the ancient Black Road opens beneath cold-burning obelisks, awakening forgotten guardians along the path. Farther from the academy, the first armies of the dead begin to march. They still serve the lich who once wore the Crown—but his authority is no longer absolute. When his commanders rise against her, she turns their own orders back upon them and claims power never meant to answer another voice. By the end of Chapter I, the lich speaks to her directly and demands the return of what once belonged to him. She does not surrender it. Built around dark cinematic atmosphere, ritual tension, defiant choruses, and powerful female vocals, this chapter moves from a violent escape into the opening conflict between the sorceress and the ancient ruler awakening beneath the world.
