What if your legs were 10 times faster than everyone else's? 100 metres in under one second instead of 9.58. Buses are easy to catch, cheetahs look slow, and every sport turns into a joke... until one evening shows you what fast legs can't do. PART 2 is next: What If Your Brain Was 10x Faster? The numbers in this video: Fastest 100 m ever run: 9.58 s. Ten times faster is about 0.96 s, roughly 375 km/h. 5 km at that speed takes 48 seconds. A marathon takes under 7 minutes. At 375 km/h you travel about 26 metres in a normal 0.25 s reaction time. Air resistance, energy use and stopping distance are rough estimates for a human body at that speed.
