First Time in Budapest, Hungary — Is It Worth the Trip?

First time in Budapest, guys. We flew up from Thessaloniki with the family, on our way to the Berlin Marathon, and we're staying on the Pest side, so I'm going to be a bit of a pest. Twenty minutes in and it's actually a really nice city. Little streets, little restaurants in the alleyways, chemists everywhere, and I've never seen so many Thai massage places. Friday night there's a line down the street and it's not a club, it's McDonald's. Ten till two it turns into a nightclub. Saturday you got the food trucks out in the middle of the road, then the Central Market Hall, two levels, all your food downstairs and all your bits and pieces upstairs. I think the Hungarians love a bit of sausage. After that it's St Stephen's Basilica, Parliament House on the river, Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle, and a cruise on the Danube by night.
