I had a relaxing morning watching the snow falling, and picking up where I left off on my knitted blanket. I ended the day making my family some chocolate chip cookies. CHICKEN STEW RECIPE: 3 chicken breasts 1 yellow onion 20 baby carrots 3 stalks celery 2 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp thyme 1 tbsp rosemary 1 1/2 tbsp salt 1 1/2 tbsp black pepper 4 cups of chicken broth 10 cups of water 2 cups wild rice 16 ounces of baby Bella mushrooms sliced 1 cup of heavy whipping cream 2 tbsp lemon juice. Add all ingredients to the pot except mushrooms and heavy whipping cream. sauté mushrooms before adding to the pot. add heavy whipping cream 5 minutes before serving.
