i lived in my car for 8 weeks, alone. I traveled to various locations where my friends and family members lived but mostly camped and slept in my car. I believe everyone should have this experience of truly being alone and observing how comfortable you really would be by yourself. I was mainly talking to myself most of this journey because i would drive 2 hours minimum everyday to new places. freedom is at your disposal 🫶 You have probably never been told this but I know you just want a hug. You want somebody to just look at you and see that your smile is forced. You never go out to seek this from anyone because you have always been the rock. How could you also be sad? Be alone? You're "the happiest one here" how could you feel any sort of discomfort? You no longer have to be the rock...you are the water. I’ve been working on something recently. A program for young adults (14–30) who've been wearing masks so long they forgot what their own face looks like. People-pleasers. Emotional anchors. The ones everyone leans on who have nobody to lean on themselves. They're not lazy — they're buried. They didn't lose themselves. They hid themselves to survive. This “program” isn’t a therapy session or a life group meetup, it’s a transformation but not from a broken you into a “better you”…it’s awareness. Being aware of your shadows and accepting them.
