Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai Styling - NEW LOOK!

I've had this tree since 2016 and always wondered how I could make this tree stand out. The top and bottom of the tree had too much space and just didn't make an interesting look. I decided to make the hard decision to completely change the tree in. I believe it paid off. What do you think? This of course is the first iteration of the tree. I will continue to refine the pads and clean up more of the foliage once it recovers. Next major work will be a repot into a pot that is suitable for the nex design.
