Someone Was Under My Truck Knocking | Trucker Horror Stories

Pull the blanket up. 15 simple stories from truckers about the things that happen out on the road at night. A diner that isn't there. A woman you can only see in the mirror. A partner who talked all night long. Some will scare you. Some will break your heart. And the last one is mine. 🚛 A trucker almost crashes, then walks into a diner where everyone goes silent. 🚛 An old man changes a stranger's tire in the rain and won't take any money. 🚛 A woman in a white dress rides on the back of a trailer. She only shows up in the mirror. 🚛 A driver's partner talks to him from the sleeper all night long. 🚛 At 3 AM, a whole town comes out on their porches to wave at a truck. 🚛 A gas station in the desert pours coffee for a quarter. 🚛 A woman at the bottom of an exit ramp holds up a sign with a truck number. 🚛 Footsteps walk across a trailer roof in the middle of the night. 🚛 A locked truck honks three times on its own. 🚛 Something under a truck knocks on the floor all night. 🚛 An old man asks if he can sit in the cab until morning. 🚛 In thick fog, a driver follows a truck with nobody inside. 🚛 Every light at a rest area goes out, and hundreds of footsteps walk past. 🚛 An old man waits on a truck stop bench for his son's red truck. 🚛 My wife wakes me up and asks who's sitting in the driver's seat. These stories are works of fiction inspired by real trucking culture, American road folklore and stories shared by drivers online. Names, places and events are dramatized for storytelling.
