Dooney Johnson | How a Father and Son Made Milwaukee Basketball History

The Father-Son Journey That Shocked Milwaukee Dooney Johnson’s basketball journey began long before he became one of Milwaukee’s most exciting young prospects. It started with his father—a former Milwaukee Juneau player who later became his coach, mentor, and biggest supporter. His father once dreamed of leading Juneau to the state championship stage but fell short during his own playing career. Years later, Dooney helped finish what his father started, bringing a championship home to Milwaukee and creating a moment neither of them will ever forget. But the journey isn’t over. Dooney is taking his senior season to East River High School in Orlando, Florida, where he will face a new city, new teammates, and new expectations. After that, another flight awaits—one that will take him across the country to Gonzaga and the next chapter of his basketball career. This is more than a basketball story. It’s a story about family, sacrifice, unfinished dreams, and a legacy passed from father to son. 🏀 Watch until the end and tell me: How far do you believe Dooney Johnson can go? 👍 Like the video 💬 Leave your thoughts below 🔔 Subscribe to Dizzle Sports Channel for more powerful sports documentaries #DooneyJohnson #MilwaukeeJuneau #MilwaukeeBasketball #GonzagaBasketball #EastRiverBasketball #HighSchoolBasketball #BasketballDocumentary #DizzleSports
