Hidden Salt Lakes, Sailing & a Little Luxury in Fiji!

Fiji just keeps surprising us! Our adventure began with a wonderful canoe trip along a winding, mangrove-lined tidal river into Savusavu's hidden Salt Lake. Paddling around King's Island, surrounded by nature, we listened to fascinating stories from our local guide about the island's ancient history. Such a peaceful and special experience! Then it was time to sail aboard Aroha to beautiful Viani Bay, with its lush green hills, coconut palms and stunning waters. We also discovered some of the area's fascinating history, including the Fisher family, whose roots go back generations in this remote corner of Fiji. What better way to round off our adventures than with a refreshing drink at the beautiful Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort near Savusavu? A little touch of luxury never goes astray!
