She who destroyed the demon armies with the sound of her divine bell. She who turns fear into fearlessness. She who makes even the gods bow. She is the third form of Goddess Durga — the warrior goddess who emerges after devotion (Day 2) is complete. After her marriage to Lord Shiva, Parvati adorned herself with the half moon — becoming Chandraghanta — the fierce protectress who rides a tiger into battle. When she shakes her bell — all evil forces tremble and flee.
