Dirk Verbeuren - "King of the Threshold" Drum Playthrough | Amarin Productions

On Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, Amarin Productions hosted an exclusive drum clinic with Dirk Verbeuren in Burbank, California, streamed live worldwide. We're proud to present this special performance of "King of the Threshold" by Soilwork from that unforgettable event. Originally released on Soilwork's 2005 album Stabbing the Drama, "King of the Threshold" showcases the band's signature blend of melodic death metal aggression, intricate guitar work, and powerful rhythmic arrangements. As Soilwork's drummer during this era, Dirk Verbeuren brought his trademark speed, precision, and dynamic musicality to the band's sound, helping shape some of its most defining performances. Captured in an intimate clinic setting, this performance gives fans and drummers alike a rare opportunity to watch Dirk revisit one of the standout tracks from his Soilwork catalog. His incredible technical precision, relentless energy, and masterful control of complex rhythms demonstrate why he remains one of the most respected and influential drummers in modern metal.
