Exploring Our Own Backyard | Chapter 3 | Karol Ka Tibba Trek & Mela | Solan, Himachal Pradesh Welcome to Chapter 3 of ‘Exploring Our Own Backyard’, a series where I explore lesser-known and peaceful places near my hometown Pinjore. In this chapter, I take you along on an amazing trek to Karol Ka Tibba, the highest peak in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, standing tall at around 2,247 meters (7,372 feet). I started the trek from the base and reached the beautiful Karol Temple, located near the top of the mountain. After some exploration, I found a quiet grassland nearby where I camped for the night, cooked my own food, and enjoyed the calm vibes of nature under the stars. The next morning, I visited the Karol Ka Mela, a local fair full of colors, traditions, and happy faces. It was such a raw and refreshing experience, meeting locals and soaking in the mountain culture. This series is all about reconnecting with nature and discovering hidden gems close to home – away from the crowd. 🙏 Note: Chapters 1 and 2 were unfortunately deleted by my friend by mistake while we w ere transferring data to my new custom PC.
